Bio

Arlin Strader is a lifelong professional musician. He began studying music at the age of ten, and playing professionally at fourteen Thanks to guidance from school teachers and help from local pro’s his interest in drums soon grew to a passion. Arlin moved to Boston Mass. after high school, working steadily and learning quickly…. So began a life long career in recording and touring.

    Being part of the music scene in Miami, Boston, L.A. Nashville and many other Cities , Arlin has successfully explored and adapted  to a variety of musical styles and genre’s keeping him busy as a full time working musician. Touring the U.S. Canada , South America and Europe for over thirty years with Big Bands, Broadway shows, Country, jazz and R&B artists, Arlin is not only familiar with working as part of a positive and creative musical ensemble but, also the relationship of art and commerce.

     As staff drummer at All Saints Church for eleven years his experience has widened  into Gospel and Christian music as well as mentoring young musicians. Arlin served on contemporary traditional and blended services, and Christian music concerts and conventions. Arlin has performed multiple shows with artists on the Integrity record label. he is a contributing member of music clinics in churches, and schools from elementary to college levels. 

In 2006 Arlin began working with the committee responsible for the long running , at that time 25 years, Conway Music and Arts Festival. After three consecutive years of appearing with his own groups, Arlin was asked to be music directer for the festival. In 2009 he became festival director. His duties as director included hiring staging, lighting and sound companies, all bands, artists and vendors. Arlin also took on administrative duties, obtaining venues, and funding from local businesses and Utilities.

     Most recently Arlin has focused on recording and performing with his own projects, with two C.D’s recorded and a third in the works. The passion is still alive….
